Background & Brand Evolution
From Beats to Bravery: The Truth About TRB Comms
Back in 2005, on the cusp of welcoming my third and final child into the world, I gave birth to something else: Tee Rex Beats Communications.
The name was part-personal, part-poetic. Tee Rex was short for Tamara Rodgers.
The Beats were my children, my literal heartbeat, my rhythm, and the reason I do any of this.
Tee Rex Beats started as a PR and communications service for musicians, supporting their visibility, messaging, and creative identity.
But over time, I saw something beneath the surface, artists weren’t just struggling with promotion, they were struggling with alignment, burnout, and the emotional toll of being seen.
The Bigger Shift: From Messaging to Mental Health
As the digital landscape exploded, so did the pressure. To be online, to be loud, to be relevant, to be everywhere. And it wasn’t just artists anymore.
Founders, coaches, and creatives were breaking under the pressure to perform their brand on platforms that rewarded noise over nuance.
Behind the screens, I saw anxiety.
Overwhelm. Comparison spirals. Brand confusion.
And a loss of authenticity in the name of visibility.
So I dug deeper.
Through my education in psychology, I began to understand how nervous system health, identity, and leadership are intrinsically linked — and how disconnected most brand building is from these truths.
That’s when everything changed.
TRB Comms Is Born
I realized: this work isn’t just about branding.
It’s about embodied transformation for artists, founders, leaders… and myself.
So I turned inward, again.
And like I’ve helped my clients do countless times, I asked:
What am I really here to build? The answer?
A system.
A movement.
A sanctuary.
Tee Rex Beats became TRB Comms same roots, deeper rhythm.
TRB now holds space for Transformational Leadership, Soul-Led Branding, and Neuroscience-Informed Messaging— all rooted in the framework I created:
The T.R.B System™ — Truth. Resilience. Bravery.
The Process
1. Distilling the Truth
I got honest about the real transformation I wanted to create: Not more marketing noise, but deep alignment that’s sustainable, trauma-aware, and soul-driven.
2. Building the Framework
I wove together everything I’d mastered. Brand development. Communication psychology. Creative leadership. Military discipline. Somatic healing. It became the T.R.B System™ a pathway for those ready to lead from within.
3. Designing the Suite
I created five offerings, each one a transformational experience:
V.I.B.E™ – for women stepping into brand and voice leadership
R.I.S.E™ – for founders navigating identity shifts and expansion
B.E.A.T™ – for creatives and musicians craving resonance
Brandiq™ – for soul-led brand strategy + identity alignment
Mar.chology™ – where messaging meets story, archetype, and science
4. Redefining My Role
I stopped calling myself a coach.
I stepped fully into my truth as a Transformation Partner Strategic Guide and Facilitator of Expansion
This isn’t personal development.
This is personal leadership.
The Results
Since the shift:
-
Clients experience deeper breakthroughs, creatively and emotionally
-
Programs are structured and scalable, while still honoring nervous system capacity
-
My work resonates with leaders, founders, and artists because it’s real
-
And most importantly?
They leave saying:
“My brand finally feels like me.”
Reflection
TRB Comms is more than a rebrand.
It’s a return to myself — and an invitation to others to do the same.
It honors the artists I began with, the leaders I support now, and the mothers, visionaries, and changemakers who no longer want to perform.
It’s for those who don’t want to hustle harder...
but want to lead deeper.
Louder.
Freer.
This is the work. And I’m just getting started.
“What you’ve built through the T.R.B System, and the way it weaves soul, strategy and resilience into leadership and branding — it’s not just rare, it’s necessary.”
— Janis Remington, Women’s Business Mentor
